This Happens on Every Video Who's Title Goes Against Trends

For instance, if you made a video with a title 'Doctor Who is Rubbish' chances are you would get a couple of people commenting on that video saying how wrong you are and that it is one of the best things on television. The title could even be a practical joke and the video maker is worshipping Doctor Who.
However, because they have, as Cardwitch91 says in her video, 'obviously not watched the video.' They assume that the title is the whole story, actual, many a time people will name a video something that is only half the story, or part of a topic that they are covering. It could easily be that the person who has named that as a title could be arguing against it, or covering parts on why it is a success.

.       The video is a little ironic in someways as the title isn't, as I've mentioned above, all the topics she covers in here. Of course the majority of the video is about why people shouldn't leave comments before watching the video, especially when reacting negatively, but she talks about plot holes in Merlin and relationships in it. Merlin, for those who haven't seen it, is another great TV episode that has a theme of mythology which is a real treat for those that like hearing and watching things like Thor and Hercules (brilliant episodes from that production). Some may even have an essence of truth in them. Not saying they do, just saying they could.

        In my opinion this topic of discussion is an interesting one, and I've even had to tell one or two trolls off until their red in the face for leaving comments that have absolutely nothing to do with the video content. Occasionally I fall into this myself, but not with the negativity, just with feeling that I can add to the subject, only to realise that they are actually talking about the opposite of what I said, or as Cardwitch91 says, parroting what you already said. I've had that many a times, for instance, just watch the Doctor Who campaign I did for things like Doctor Who confidential. And even about Steven Moffat, and I got called Anti-Moffat in one despite praising him for much of the video...this type of thing shows why people should watch a video first.

In Conclusion and My Congratulations to Cardwitch91

       First of I like to congratulate her for reaching a landmark of 100 subscribers, I was very slow at that but she got there quickly. So hopefully she can get another 900 followers soon to give her videos the viewership and fans that they deserve.

       Secondly, it can be very easy to comment on a video before watching. And perhaps some just want to leave their friends on Youtube a quick comment to say they are watching and still a fan, and have problems watching the whole things if it is a very long video, but usually they watch the rest later. Others are what I call trolls, they assume a video is about one thing when it is actually about another. I suppose they will never learn. I also assuming that Cardwitch91 knows that these people don't really listen to what others are saying and will not learn from their internet mistakes. But that's Youtube, at least she gave it a shot for them, and covered the things she had to say. Others do watch your videos though, and will leave appropriate comments on them when they have a chance.

     Thirdly, keep up the good work to all those that read this.

Scared Trolls? You Should Be!!!

Trolls better beware. Not only are trolls not getting any Christmas presents this year, or next year for a good half a decade, but they've now got to fear a living anti-troll eating puppet by the name of PissytheClown. He's already owned a lot of trolls in the past and made an embarrassment out of all those trolls that cross him. But he's much more than that nowadays, he's planning on visiting them in their scruffy, filthy, fucked up dwellings and giving them all sorts of Halloween surprises. And it isn't going to stop on Halloween either. Puppets eat Trolls all year long.

So to my fellow trolls out there, and yes, all those who are trying to have a piece of 'The Scribe', not only are you going to get owned time and time again by myself, but you've got another Troll eater, who is going to munch on your flesh...at night. He's a possessed Puppet Clown, the most scarey variety on planet earth.

PissytheClown On DoctorShannon's Channel

PissytheClown was also a guest star on DoctorwhoShannon's channel talking about Steven Moffat, who is methodically destroying his favourite show, Doctor Who! Not only is Moffat a lying arrogant person, but he is bad at management and should be writing for Doctor Who rather than the man in charge. If PissytheClown was in charge things would be better. Far better for us and worse for the Doctor. PissytheClown nearly was on Doctor Who once, looking for the TV troll, Moffat and Danny Cohen.

Luckily for us PissytheClown is an anti-troll and only munches on the flesh of other Trolls, therefore DoctorwhoShannon was safe after a visit by PissytheClown. Others have not been so fortunate.

Doctor Freedom, Who Is He?

NEW EXCITING CHARACTER ON YOUTUBE

A new superhero has come to Youtube. He has a mask and calls himself Dr Freedom, but who is the man behind the mask? Many have speculated Matt Smith, perhaps even David Tennant, but few have come close enough to unmask this new hero or villain.

He talks in an mysterious accent, wears a mask made of pure gold, that can only be pierced by radioactive Kryptonite. Not the standard thing they sell on the black market. Some say that the Mask is actually part of his exoskeleton due to his parents exposure to radioactive Kryptonite but many are saying it is actually not a material that is found on earth.

Doctor Freedom talks about the possibilities of Matt Smith leaving next year and his life as a superhero ;) My thoughts on the subject are that each actor playing the Doctor shouldn't hog the Doctor's character as he is meant to regenerate. Doctor Freedom talks about the fact that Matt Smith has recently said he will be leaving Doctor Who for greener pastures in Hollywood. And how Matt Smith's Doctor warmed his gold plated heart with 'The Eleventh Hour'.

In the above video he mentions what he thinks of several of the past Doctors. All in all his videos are dark, interesting and dangerous to watch. But I hope everyone enjoys this new character into the world of youtubies!

Doctor Who Controversy

     So anybody who has been listening to all the hype about Doctor Who will by now have some inside knowledge of future events for Who both on set and off. And without a doubt, know that the series and franchise is under threat. The threat is one that has ended many TV series - a slowdown.

What and Who is at Risk of Slowdowns

     Anything that has a large presence has threats of fading out. Such as the Roman Empire, British Empire and TV series. To name just a few. The reason for this could be compared to gravity, what goes up must come down. The more you have the greater a chance you will lose some.

DarthVil Thoughts about the Series

     There is no surprise that us guys in our 30s are feeling the squeeze. We've seen how TV series have come and gone and even when they have a large TV audience it doesn't necessarily protect them form the Jaws of time. DarthVil clearly demonstrates the problems with people's assumptions of Doctor Who and with the impeding slowdown strategy that the BBC is imposing.

Business economics

DarthVil speaks about the fact that Doctor Who needs money spent on it in order to make money. This is a fundamental rule of all business. You cannot make money from nothing. Though some people do seem to flaunt that somehow, there are definitely some exceptions to those rules...like those claiming benefit for their whole life without deserving it. That's another subject though. I was impressed with the clear headiness of DarthVil, and all of his points had be nodding my head throughout the video.

Franchise Under Threat

     DarthVil mentions that Doctor Who Confidential has already been scrapped, and unfortunately for the younger audience at heart, we have the Sarah Jane Adventures coming to a steady close. The later not the fault of the producers but still it will have a damaging effect on Doctor Who overall. He methodically pleads with the audience that we have to now admit that there is a problem with how the show is being run and it does feel that they are slowly axing the franchise. Since Confidential doesn't really cost much extra, in comparison to other TV shows, there was no real need to axe the program. In a way it shows that the BBC are no longer interested in accelerating the program to the next level.

Budget Cuts and Franchise Cuts Don't Make Programs Better

      There was talks by Moffat that he wants it to be more successful in America, and indeed there have been some signs of effort on this on his behalf - by RTDavies! But as far as I see the only effort gone into it are some damn good episodes, and there is nothing wrong with that type of strategy, but Moffat's reign of terror on Doctor Who has been a confusing one. They haven't a clue when to put DW on television, nor that it isn't so much the month of the year it is on but how good each individual episode is.

      Season 6 was good, but season 5 was a bumpy ride, and not the exciting variety throughout. Although there were its moments. Fans have been worried that the bad reaction season 5 got doesn't make up even when season 6 was good. The reason for this is it just feels that Doctor Who is not being taken seriously by the BBC.

Excuse by Moffat and Mixed Messages

       One of the major problems, and this is something that DarthVil mentions, is that there seems to be mixed messages from the Producers of the show and S.Moffat. Almost as if Moffat is lying to the viewers to keep the show going. There is no doubt that Moffat wants the show to survive. But the BBC Directors may not be as interested or dedicated to the show. If they were it wouldn't be necessary to cut the budget and axe its counterpart programs.

       It seems from someone looking from outside the box that the scheduling is messy because the BBC have other things they wish to show before Doctor Who. With suggest a lack of commitment, but also only having half a season in 2012 suggest that they are wishing to slowdown the series. If fans become irritated and bored enough then it would be easier to axe the show.

Breakbeatkev3 SHOULD GET STONED FOR HIS RECENT VIDEO...LOL

Breakbeatkev3 is a soldier of the new movement. A belief in what's right and destroying what is wrong. For those of you who haven't come across Breakabeatkev3 you guys are in for a proper, a proper treat! Don't believe me? Then check out his anti-trolling videos, and his ownage of Gillon over and over again are just a joy to behold. But his most recent video is an absolute smoker, clouds ahead of its time and probably right up there...in the sky. There is nothing wrong with a bit of agriculture, it is a proper science in every way and here Breakbeatkev3 shows off his gardening skills on Youtube.

Possession is 9/10ths of the Law!!!

The six foot odd plants are a proper eye catcher if I do say so myself, and will make someone a good sandwich - smoking hot! So roll on up and observe the skill levels to produce such fine crops. Those are not easy to come by and I expect this ability to be worth £100,000s to businesses around his state! And in this time recession and gloom it is good to know that his skills will make many a people happy, and build businesses in surrounding areas. It is good to see someone so dedicated to nature and nurturing it just right.

Whoopsie!!! How did that picture get here? Anyway. After watching Breakbeatkev3's ability in agriculture I'm thinking of studying the science myself. It goes further than photosynthesis to produce crop like these guys and only the best of the bunch are pickings for the professionals. Remember guys/ladies that these plants should be sold by the metric system, it is now illegal to use anything else.

1andycox1 Filming is Ingenious, actually, call it genius

    This video is right on so many levels, apart from being ingenious and catching those magical moments of how to be annoying, it just fuckin' works. 1andycox1 comes up with corker after corker in this video, and no stone goes unturned. There is a name for the this type of humour, and it passes me, but I would call it having fun with your friend's psychology. Although, some would call it just being annoying for the fun of it.

Irrelevant Questions: that need answers, for the fun of it!!!

I'll be honest, if you check out half of my responses to trolls you will catch parts of my personality that are prevalent even in 1andycox1's edition of having fun. For instance, just like 1andycox1, when I was young I used to enjoy confusing my friends just to be a bit annoying - to me it is a game. And 1andycox1 plays it well.

    He makes sure that he asks questions. Just to be awkward, random and to make it as fun to record as possible. Not that the questions are irrelevant but they are special in that they are as random as can be, and there is nothing wrong with that while trolling your friends in college. There is nothing more special to see someone confused on camera either. But Matt Ashcroft seems to be a good sport in the confusion, probably questioning throughout why he's being recorded none stop all day long.

But hey, perhaps Matt Ashcroft would have come up with some real answers to cure the world of every problem. You never know?!!! Also, forcefully interviewing our future Prime Minister is a must.

Keeping Up The Good Shots

Before I start to write my point of view: whatever you do guys, never, unless you are joking, follow friends into the toilet for a chat! Real bad idea.

     Actual, the first day of my college life I had to runaway from a potential stalker because he followed me into the toilets...thinking it was normal. The fucker wouldn't leave me alone but it wasn't the same as what 1andycox1 was doing, my stalker thought that was normal behavior. Here: 1andycox1 threatens it for a laugh, to freak Matt out and doesn't follow him in.

Playing Along

    I got the feeling that Matt Ashcroft was playing along at some points but was a little embarrassed in others. Which 1andycox1 lavished upon. The beginning of the video is as epic as it could possibly be. The camera never loses focus on the victim, there is no hiding space from candid cam!!! The way the viewers like it, sure it can torture the actual forced Presenter but that's an expense that was worth the effort for the camera man...;)

The New Sport For Youtube

I see a brand new sport starting from this one video and indeed 1andycox1 seems to be taking it to new levels. Delving ever deeper into the study of psychology. But a real good suggestion, for those who dare, would be to do it to a complete stranger...I can see a future Youtubie going around, just for the fun of it, and none stop filming of a confused passerby. Purposely being invasive, it may have been done in comedy before though. Of course 1andycox1 was not doing this but it would be a laugh for the viewers.

Childhood Love

For those of you who didn't see my videos prior 2010 I must now confess that one of my first videos was about Lego! I was talking about James May's fabulous attempt at making an entire house out of Lego and giving him the thumbs up for the attempt. The bugger achieve the almost seemingly impossible task of completing the build. It had its own toilet, bathroom, bedroom and his ambition was basically to live in Lego. The bugger had done it up to be an entirely functional house. Since that day he won my heart as my favourite Top Gear Presenter. Sadly, I deleted some of the first videos I did due to quality issues and inexperience.

mrmistertibbles videos of Lego show talent. Even though they probably need a few more frames per second, of something he is striving to achieve for his future videos anyway, the video does not go without the fun, lively movement and large set up of Lego. Here are some thoughts about his talent?

Multiple realistic movements. You don't just see one thing move at a time but many complex acrobats at once. In fact, there are ninjas that roll, jump, climb and chase...did I mention change clothes too?
Each animal is amusingly presented. For instance, the cows all seem to nod at one point and then are feeding in the show. A dog runs over his owner, which really shows a real life connection with the Lego...and a cat does the same. In almost a cartoon type skit, giving each animal a likeable personality.
Vehicles seem to have more frames at some points and this makes these parts smoother and enjoyable to watch. Lots of passengers leave the bus and flee in their own way. I can see this must have been a very complex scene to record.
Cartoon fashion scenery and plot. The scenery shows the maker loves Lego as there are lots of different sets. But what I was impressed with is the use of the sets. The scenery has life, even buildings are doing something. Lots of editing skills are shown here. An understanding of personality, adding audio where needed, like creaking doors and explosions. The plots are fast and fun.
Due to the amount of action in the scenery at one point I wouldn't be surprised if he had included clouds moving overhead. This is a great job.

So I would say that mrmistertibbles is one Lego presenter to look out for in the future. If he adds more frames per second in future videos and keep the camera still he can expect his fans, friends and views to climb higher than a lot of us. All he would have to do is keep the fun in the videos! I wish him the best of luck with his Lego presentations. I can see him doing it even better in his next editions.

TrilbyMenetti's THOUGHTS ON 9/11

9/11 Terrorist Attacks

This is one thing that seems to keep itself in the media all the time. September the 9th 2001! Even after 10 years there is not one week that goes by without me hearing something about the attacks that took place that day. Whether they are conspiracy theorist, survivors, people turning ill due to lung damage, and the list goes on. But I'm still fascinated at what happened and people's stories.

     TrilbyMenetti tells of what he was doing all those years ago. He was 9 and remembers it vividly being new to high school. Makes me feel old as I was 23, and actually in college...and no, to the trolls, not because I was thick!

TrilbyMenetti and myself appear to had similar experiences. I had just started this IT course at college due to demands of my employer as a 'refresher course', the companies new way to revive knowledge and keep people sharp, and TrilbyMenetti was in school. In RE (Religious Education) So we were both learning that day, in fact, I remember my last RE lesson, I walked out after a bunch of muppets started to piss around in class - I hated those lessons.

     He remembers seeing clips of the towers falling; I remember seeing it as it was happening, as I had just finished for the day and someone had wheeled in a TV into the hallway showing the gore in all its glory.

     TrilbyMenetti goes into his youth explaining what he remembers of the reactions of people around him. He amazingly took in the emotional responses of people and remembered, noticing that people weren't taking the piss but being shocked and perhaps a little intrigued. Did I mention that TrilbyMenetti seems to make his video footage in HD too?

     Admittedly I was fascinated, and it was a whole day of constant footage of what had happened. I do, unfortunately, remember one or two friends taking the mickey but most were very supportive and Britain really did come to America's aid.

The above video is what I was doing that day and how I feel about it today. Looks like things have changed a lot!

As for my Youtubie friend TrilbyMenetti I can tell you guys/ladies that he is a keen Doctor Who fan, is a polite young man and makes intelligent comments on other people's channels about a wide range of topics. Also, I love the fact that he shoots a lot of his clips in HD.

Jbscoolsims THOUGHTS ABOUT 'CLOSING TIME'

A DEATHLY FEELING

I have no doubt that the next episode will be mostly about the connection between the Doctor and River Song. As two forces of past and future battle it out to try and save the Doctor, and I have a feeling that River Song will be trying to save the Doctor while the 'controlled' River Song will be forced to try and kill the Doctor.

Jbscoolsims is a youthful fan of Doctor Who and talks with passion about the latest episode. He has a similar feeling for the show as me but not exact, which makes his videos more appealing to me. The approaching death is a feeling that many fans of Doctor Who felt while watching, and both myself and Jbscoolsims certainly felt the on coming storm for the Doctor, and the approaching doom. I was quite impressed with how the writer, actors and Producers held that feeling throughout the episode. Never seeming to break tense for his ultimate demise.

As for Jbscoolsims, he has made quite a number of videos on Doctor Who, so he is definitely a fan of the show.

But nothing makes a Youtubie quite like a good rant. See, fellow critics, I am not the only person who found the gay scenes in Torchwood just that bit too much. I would go as far to say it will put fans off watching Torchwood in future. Also, it makes it incredibly difficult for Youtubies and online reviewers to review their episodes if the majority of them have 15 minutes of gays making out! What are we suppose to say to that? And can anyone imagine school kids talking about Torchwood in the same way they talk about Doctor Who?

'Hey Tommo, what did you watch last night?' Chalky says deviously, but in a none malicious tone.

'Yeah my man Chalky I watch Torchwood, it was mint wasn't it?' Says Tommo, expecting a round of applause. But is taken back by laughter and mockery that follows in the classroom!

Why? Well, teenagers and college students (a large part of the audience) would be questioning Tommo's sexuality, the mature point of view would not be considered in such circumstances. And who can blame them? Torchwood is half homosexual these days. So no kid, for sure, could ever admit being a fan of Torchwood or Captain Jack Harkness without the risk of being prone to bullies. While, sometimes, depending on the classroom one could get away with homosexual speech, actually admitting to enjoying the show would be risky.

As for the heterosexual scenes, for those critics of mine and my Youtube friends, they are much more mild in comparison. Did I mention that RTDavies version of homosexuality seems to be poking fun at homosexuals rather than show them in the light they intended. It is clear that neither myself nor Jbscoolsims likes the homosexual scenes and indeed it is a sure thing that we are both heterosexual males but that doesn't mean that we are out to poke fun at a show for having gays in it.

We don't want to see it in all the episodes, in all its, so called, Glory! Neither are we that interested in watching the show for the heterosexual scenes. What? People squeal! Yes, we live in a time of internet, why can't any person, of any sexuality, watch that stuff on Redtube, XVIDEOS, Spankwire and the endless amount of Free Porno sites?

WHAT? 'NO HAT'

The only negative thing I can say about his channel is a lack of a decent hat? Why can't people wear clothes on their videos? But jokes besides, he makes decent content and deserves more exposure for his material on Youtube. It seems hard these days to get decent 'real' views as the site because bloated with advertisement for Top-End Youtubies. Youtube has forgotten about those up and coming stars.

TheBlindDyslexic VIDEOS ABOUT CHILDHOOD SUFFERING AND BULLYING

Children's Abusers Being Ignored

One thing that I find shocking about the modern world is the lack of modernisation in schools, colleges and even universities, and the workplace. Bullying and emotional abuse is a problem that society has yet to address properly and to fix, most of the victims have been ignored and haven't had any form of training in handling any social issues they may have. Personally I think that if parental guidance fails then vulnerable children should have specialised training in handling daily stresses and in understanding how to deal with it more appropriately.

TheBlindDyslexic instalments of 'Put Up and Shut up' episodes are to be admired. He talks about how children's emotional problems are being ignored, with fire in his eyes, and that many are being swept under the carpet. So impressed I was about the above video that I told a larger Youtube Partner about TheBlindDyslexic's message in his 'Put Up and Shut Up' videos and about the low views it had, despite having such great content. And most of all, an important message.

So even a large Youtuber thought it be a good idea for the video to go viral on Youtube. Unfortunately, despite good intentions from TheBlindDyslexic and me and Steve, the video is still stuck on a couple of hundred. But the message never fades. And this still goes on, everyday, in our schools. And it will continue to destroy families in every school if things don't change. I feel that what happens in school is also largely responsible for what happens later on in a persons life...the baggage has to be carried and sometimes things get twisted into a life of crime and violence. If we didn't have bullying in school, we would have a much better society overall.

The ignoring mindset is one that really has to be 'shoved under the carpet'. Can anyone ignore being slapped, punched, kicked, robbed and daily insulted? Even Adults would admit that's a little much. TheBlindDyslexic talks about this and how frustrating it is to see children's lives turned upside down, despite that many of these problems can be fixed if adults did what they should do.

CONCLUSION

First off guys and ladies I suggest you take a look at the videos above. Especially the first and last one. My recommendations for vulnerable children is to spot them early and help train them emotionally in being able to cope better with sarcasm and idiots. Also, helping them to raise their own confidence levels is important but perhaps schools could also spot troublemakers earlier and remove them from the equation. It is true that troublemakers are very difficult to school or train and will not listen to authority or pay attention to what is being said by their guardians. So a different method should be used for troublesome kids and adults (which is usually prison).

Also, I would suggest that schools could adopt visual and audio aids in fighting bullies. Technology is much cheaper and I'm sure a few hidden cameras in the classroom is well inside a schools budget!

XrotarebiL Video on Your Channel

Couldn't have put it much better myself. Here is the fab video in which XrotarebiL tries to give people the confidence in using their own channel for their own things. And not being guided by Trolls or shifted by opinions in what should or shouldn't be done.

   The sad reality of Youtube is not just that this video hasn't got more views, and hopefully I can help out a bit, but what Xrotarebil is saying is all too true. People seem to get ruled by trolls and youtube buddies who are asking them to do things that are not in the style of that particular Youtuber.

   I have a feeling that Xrotarebil has been watching some of the trolling in the Doctor Who community and noticed that people, and perhaps I too have been guilty of this, have been lead on to troll someone by the trolls who want them to do it for their own amusement. And 'Yes' they will watch the trolling while it is in action but they quickly get bored once it is finished, and then move on. This is a guide to short term success but long term failure! And Xrotarebil was getting at that also.

Out of Focus

   Xrotarebil is right about the philosophy about video making. Let's say I was health guru, but saw that people making comedy got more views than myself. Would it be a good idea for me to try and compete with them realising that comedy gets more views and subscriber?

    There is, of course, no right or wrong answer. But there is an answer that feels right. I would say no. If my passion was health then I should, in theory, do much better in the community by speaking about health with passion and determination rather than attempting comedy with fear, aggravation, disappointment and a lack of passion.

    People who like what they are talking about like talking to others about what they like talking about. And this allows them to get involved in the community of Youtube better. So while they may get less views and subscribers, the quality of their video making and interaction with their fellow Youtubers will be better overall. Quantity isn't always better.

Damaging to Your Channel

     If you are lead on by this type of behavior it can be damaging. Sometimes people get a bit of fame by stupid things, but it isn't the type of fame or fortune that one should want. And many Youtubers, including myself, aren't doing it for the fame anyway. The last thing I would want is to do something really stupid on my channel, become famous for it and then have the mickey taken out of me for the rest of my life. LOLs to others, but a sad truth to some.

   Some channels sort of self-destruct, or feel uncomfortable in making their videos. They're never an easy watch after that.

Other than Trolls

   The spirit in which Xrotarebil talks with is not just primary involved with trolling. It is about why we all make videos in the first place. He was saying that people should make videos about things they want to make videos about not about things that people want them to. This is a great philosophy and can get people back into focus. In fact, it has sort of help me realise a few things about my channel/channels.

Doctor Who Comic Con Convention

This happens every year. The directors, producers, actors, writers and you name their job on the Doctor Who team, all meet up with their fans and party, and as the name suggest, we get a day of none stop action. Where we stalk our favourite actors for a whole day...how cool is that? I think that every fan must at some point go to a Doctor Who convention. I've been planning to do for a while but have been held back by private life, but I will make the effort next year. ;)

     Trayusstudent1 went as the 10th Doctor and if you watch the video there is a marked resemblance to David Tennant's Doctor! So probably a good choice. I may have to chose a Sontaran.

   For those new to my videos and blog I thought I would say that myself and Trayusstudent1 have been youtube buddies since I opened up the 'Scribe' account. He is someone who loves speculating about Doctor Who and it looks that his speculation going as far back into the beginning of Moffat's reign may indeed be right. He told me that we won't get to see the big fight at the end of this season...last year! That prediction looks like it may indeed turn out true.

   I agree with him that a whole bunch of us should get down to Comic Con for the convention, even though the timing was off for some of the Youtuber's such as myself it would be nice to have a meet up with other Youtube buddies at the convention. Especially the ones we've been chatting to for years with video messages and comments, and even Skype.

The above image shows the actors answering fans' questions, and that's not the only thing that happens there. Sometimes you see an episode early and there is always a nice surprise for the guest of the convention, Karen Gillan is having a kissathon - apparently!

Doctor Who: Let's Kill Hitler

This episode of Doctor Who takes the story arc of River Song to the next level, exploring her more deeply and revealing some more truths. Her personality was humorous, witty and timelordy.

Apart from the imagination of the story, and the creation of a high-tech robot, which, let's face it: was flippin' awesome, the episode takes the cream for a jammy packed biscuit of goodness (if that makes any sense at all?).

    It's disappointing that his acceptance and open mind doesn't always come naturally for fans of our show, I'm afraid that sometimes this is the downfall of Sci-Fi. A technicality that people just don't accept new characters as well as old ones. Doctor Who should be different, we know that regeneration is a key component of the show and all fans should accept this as a must.

   His appreciation of the episode comes through with burst of colours. His methodical approach to Doctor Who's production, CGI, scripts, actors and producers is outstanding for someone so young and possibly terrifying for the producers of films, TV series and cartoons...there should be a lot to live up to if young people are looking this deep. I was taken back when he wasn't just observing the episode itself but commenting on scripts and making observations and clever comparisons to successful franchises like Transformers.

"As good as the CGI is in Transformers its still 'quite boring!!!' "

This shows that young people nowadays look for more than simple graphical tricks, they're actually observing it more deeply than even the adults. A sure proof that Doctor Who fans are truly way above the average intellect.

The comparison with Transformers is an important one. The last movie was one of the worst movies I've seen for years, but has some of the best special effects. How can this be? The reason the movie hasn't done well as it should is because young people, just like adults, don't like to see simply plots with a load of firework special effects without the effort of good scripting. They're after the meat, potato and carrots of the story, not just the jammy dodger treat with CGI.

Surprisingly his choice for his favourite part of the show went in line with mine. Now many will have adored the part where Mel turned into River Song. But I, just like doctorwhoreviewshd, liked the cheeky drive through the Doctor's name in the crops (a pun on crossing out the Doctor's name, as in a kill) and then taking the TARDIS on her own little joyride. Magnificent!!!

Other things that I liked was when Mel tossed the model TARDIS and the CGI merged it beautifully with the scene of the real one. That was just a treat! And the 'man'chine was just so cool!

Since doctorwhoreviewshd's thoughts and deep observations have sparked a flare in me I think I will make a promise that I will make a reply to his video tomorrow. The video itself has given me the idea of comparing the Transformers movie in 2011 with Doctor Who in 2011. Comparisons such as quantity, quality and ideas can be shown. In which Doctor Who wins in all areas!

JOEANDTEDDY BUILDS A FULL SIZED DALEK!!!

I remember the first time I saw the Daleks, an old black and white episode! The Daleks to me are my first nightmare and fantasy as a child. Even if they looked ridiculous they could still unblock your toilet, but what scared me as a child was the fact that they could exterminate so unpredictably. And I think it is this unpredictable nature that makes them so terrifying.

JOEANDTEDDY'S Awe Inspiring Dalek Build

This video is just sooo cool! Despite that it was the hottest day of the year! Why? Because of the freaking FULL sized Dalek, how awesome is that? And may I say, 'could not have asked for more.'

Okay, I've said in previous videos that in Doctor Who the Daleks were overused and misused but this was different. It proves my point that the Daleks do actually exist outside of fiction. ;) How else could one explain this ones manipulation over Joe. But really, nice build. And that's what I like about some of these Doctor Who fans: they are cool, imaginative and creative (like JOEANDTEDDY) with an eccentric colourful personality quirk (much like myself, and everyone I know in the Doctor Who community), and also they make cool things.

On a more serious tune nobody can deny that JOEANDTEDDY's build is nothing but cool. But be careful JOEANDTEDDY, Daleks have a way of making you think you are in control when in reality they are the ones taking over the universe - and for some reason, wanting to destroy everything in their path.

THE DOCTOR HAS A DARK SIDE

This can't be true, the Doctor is pure goodness with a bit of Jammy Dodger goodness! Unfortunately, he does have a dark side. Even the BBC site writes that the Dreamlord, for instance, is the dark side of the Doctor. But what is this dark force?

cardwitch91 says it all in this video and more. Here she explains what she thinks of the Dreamlord and how he may one day return, and mentions something about the strange regeneration in Journey's end. Which could be, let's face it, a way to have the Doctor one regeneration further along than everyone considers him. A writers plot device for something bigger. Because it was a regeneration. The video is wonderfully put and long enough to drink a cuppa and eat some chocolate biscuits to while listening to some of the theories. That's what I did when watching it.

Many moons ago I made a video about the possibility of the Valeyard coming back. He was the evil manifestation of the Doctor. I also connected the Dreamlord to the Valeyard explaining the theory that they were practically one of the same. The Valeyard was a trainee prosecutor and hence his name and the Dreamlord was in dreams, hence his name. So to leave clues the evil Doctor has always left names that are connected to something he's doing, giving away that he is the other side of the Doctor's personality. Many of us believe that the Dreamlord is the first instance of the manifestation of the evil Doctor, just not in physical form yet. There certainly is a connection when the Dalek said, '...the Doctor will be the one who destroys the universe.'

Since the evil manifestation of the Doctor is the Doctor then if he destroys the universe it technically was the Doctor 'who will destroy the universe'. Get it? How this works in script is going to be interesting but don't count the evil Doctor out just yet.

WHY DO PEOPLE LOOK FOR A GOLDEN STAIRCASE TO FAME OR RICHES ON YOUTUBE?

In a previous video of mine I talked about youtubers who are really annoying. Sub for Sub channels are especially crazy, taking up large amounts of Google's bandwidth and just turning Youtube into some type of joke. Many not even having a single video to their name they still have the audacity to complain about not having many people subbing to their channel. I wish it was some trolling technique to get a reaction, but no, these people do exist on Youtube.

I apologise in advance, but for some reason the Blog wasn't allowing me to post the video directly onto this site so I've used a link that shows sXeBlues video! Of course people can see it on my channel too.

sXeBlues Brilliant Commentary On Attitudes On Youtube

This is an excellent commentary by sXeBlues, which expanded on my previous video. He says what he thinks, and many others, is important on being a Youtuber, and what attracts him to other people's channels. Also, and not to be sniffed at, what puts him off. This is vital information for those wishing to do well on Youtube. Although there are many different styles, some of which we may not have hit upon in our videos or blog. sXeBlues is as truthful and forthright as he can possibly be in a video. Which is rare on Youtube these days.

CRAZY YOUTUBERS

I've come across comments on Yahoo questions and answers where one particular Youtube abuser went into a full page rant about when he subs to other people's channel they don't sub back. So I checked his channel out, and you guessed it: no videos, no favourites, no effort in making the channel looked used, at least a change of font or channel background? But no...just a blank nothingness. I could have made a video just based on that particular Youtuber but thought that it would have advertised him.

Many of these people who complain about a lack of subs despite having no videos up are really just jealous people. They want the fame and fortune without having to do anything, which I consider just lazy. The attitude of 'I won't do this if you don't do this for me first'. And if that is the case they can pass by my channel, I don't like to entertain people like that.

Then there is the subscription limit on Youtube, if people with no videos up think that every single Youtuber can go on their channel and click subscribe when the other Youtuber has a subscription cap set on their channel, they are crazier and more selfish than I thought.

Yes, I have decided that the featured part of my Youtube channel is better used to help promote people who make good videos, but aren't large partners on Youtube. As Youtube is a social network I think it is important to use it in a social setting, especially since my channel is of social importance rather than comical. I have decided that I like to help people who are in my circle of Youtube buddies. These people regularly comment on my videos and are just very supportive to other people.

I will feature each video for 24 hours at a time. This, I find, is long enough for the views to increase and for people to notice their channels. It also helps in making the featured part a fairer system to others who are making good videos to have their video put on someone's channel.

HAS RUSSELL T DAVIES COMPLETELY LOST THE PLOT

Excitement came as always when I get to watch something to do with Doctor Who. Torchwood is a great science fiction program, usually well written and directed. And after seeing 'the Children of Earth' episodes, well, I was ready for another great season.

So people, I was there sat in my living room with girlfriend and family members very happy that Miracle Day Part 8 was about to be aired, smiles all around. It was a hot night on August 25th 2011 at 9pm, but not for the right reasons. What started out very promising quickly turned sour and both myself and many other viewers got the shock of our life.

Full on, unedited, man on man action. 'What's wrong with that?' Defenders of the show asked. We know Jack Harkness is gay!

Jack Harkness is sexual attracted to both men and women. And 'YES' some gay scenes are necessary to show the character in his true light but sometimes it isn't what you do but the way that you do it. Many viewers, including myself, thought that the scenes weren't really relevant in carrying the storyline and if anything were to shock viewers. It was like the Production team were betting on what they could get away with. Poking fun at the viewers and critics as the scenes unfolded - and that isn't part of Sci-fi.

HOW FAR IS TOO FAR?

Okay, I admit, I'm not one for liking homosexual scenes on television and it isn't due to any religious belief before the herds of nutcases start making wild assumptions. It's down to taste. I believe that it is damaging Torchwood. Okay, Torchwood is an adult program and has themes that are geared towards mostly mature individuals. But was it really necessary for full on sex scenes shown recently? Is our nation really begging to see this, since the BBC and Stars are geared towards commercial success it feels like a sell out to a small proportion of viewers, and they're crossing their fingers with the rest hoping we'll turn a blind eye.

And guess what? Many people have asked me, 'what have you against gays?'

I have nothing against gays. As I explained in this video. What I do find disgusting is thinking that we should have to sit down to watch Sci -fi just to see a gay scene in every single episode. And, of graphical proportions.

'...but, but...' some of you squealed on my Youtube channel, 'gay scenes and heterosexual scenes have been apart of Torchwood since the very first season! Why didn't you make a video attacking it back then?'

I did voice my opinion, but I wasn't actively making Youtube videos back then. Neither was I blogging much. The above capture is taken from season 1 of Torchwood, episode 2. The difference is striking. First it is a heterosexual act!

I can already hear the complaints and groans, 'oh right! I see! It is fine when it is a heterosexual act but if it is gay then you are making insulting videos and blogging about it?'

Excuse me about the censorship, but this is a blog and not a sex show. As for insulting, voicing my opinion is not being insulting it is an opinion.

The above still capture is from another full on nudity sex scene between Jack Harkness and his lover. This happens a number of times in season 4. The difference with the heterosexual stuff was that it was fully clothed and in good taste with the program. The above scene is something from a porno show, it didn't even add to the program and stole valuable time.

Another thing that I feel necessary to mention is the idea that equal rights means that we have to see everything gay couples do! Equal rights does not mean that people want to see every single bit of a culture, which is only watchable for a fraction of the general population. For instance, since we are talking about gay rights making it plausible, and for some bizarre reason from some, necessary for educationally purposes on TV...why don't we start showing beastiality on television too?

And here, looking for the first picture on google for 'beastiality' we come along the word 'ACCEPTANCE'. Excuse me! But whether I accept you or not in my life and living room doesn't mean that I want to see you in action in your private life.

WHAT THEY DON'T TELL YOU ABOUT TOP SECRET SPY PLANES

Speculation has always been a part of predicting certain military operations and projects. In this blog edition I'm going to look at certain spy planes. It's no accident that the American military, for instance, and by no means the only one, have been covering up their capabilities since 28th July 1976 and is it wrong to state that the American military haven't made any technological advances since then?

The above spy plane is the last supersonic plane measured - officially! Apparently, technology and speed hasn't improved since 28th of July 1976, considering this was nearly 40 years ago, and we know scientist and manufactures have made great advancements with technology we can safely assume this to be inaccurate. The military themselves have admitted that they prefer to keep their fastest planes, and topnotch technology a secret nowadays.

THE AURORA

The Aurora hypersonic spy plane was speculated by many scientist and journalist as something being developed at Lockheed way back in the 80s, and early 90s. In 1990 a hypersonic aircraft was heard over California that sparked excitement about what the American Military had been developing. The plane was estimated by its exhaust trails as being able to hit speeds of mach 11.2. Far in excess of any other plane's performance officially released by the military.

There is a reason that the American Military is secretive of such technology and projects. As are all government projects, in any country. They even said in response to the speculation that 'protection of our nation's interest is more important than the public's need to know'. That is a quote by the Military. This is important, as it shows that they admit that they can't give vital information away.

The above video has some scientist and journalist talking about the Aurora's amazing capabilities. All sounds wonderful. But remember that technology is 2 decades old, could be even older if you count prototyping. Despite the American Military only recently admitting to having a plane like the Aurora, although they didn't call it that, they were far ahead of us and our expectations of their technology than we thought. Here is a picture of their most recent exploration:

This is the plane that they used for an experiment. Some believe that it was to test to see if any other country would try and capture it. The plane was never meant to be recovered and some believe that once they achieved what they set out to do they guided it down to its doom. At least that is what they told us!

The abilities of this plane far exceed that of the Aurora. Hitting speeds of Mach 22, and able to navigate itself, shows that Lockheed Scientist had been way ahead of us in our expectations. In truth: the HTV-2 makes the Aurora look like a piece of ancient junk.

Thoughts

The reason I wrote this blog was just to show a quick demonstration that the military don't admit to their top technology easily. Unless they have a specific reason to do so. For instance: how does a plane get from mach 4 to mach 22 without developments hitting the ones somewhere in between first? Also, it is amazing that now the military decided to admit to these planes. It is said that our knowledge of spy planes is 30 years behind what is actually going on.

This seems true. For some reason the military decided to declassify the Aurora only a few weeks back, and then we heard of the HTV-2 plane. This is no coincidence.

Wise is to Shake Hands and Settle our Differences like adults

If that doesn't work then a quick scrap in a car park may just be more adventurous, as was suggested by Aspergianstar2009 in the video below. Don't judge us too hard, it looks like the feud has been milked by a load of ****-stirrers. We have settled this, unfortunately not in the car park, but for us both to stop blowing things out of proportion.

While watching, I had this funny image in my head of all the fights I've been in. Some strangely seem to end up in a pub 10 minutes later?! Not in the fight goes there, but we end up settling it by seeing who can buy the other the most pints. If you are a woman reader you probably wonder why one minute men are punching the hell out of each other and the next they are sharing cigarettes and buying each other a rounds at the local pub?

Men are strange creatures ladies, when we get into a fight it last for 5 minutes, then we shake hands and make up. 'For women it would last for years', this was said to me by Aspergianstar2009 himself. In a recent Skype conference. He's right there.

For those of you who haven't watched my recent video, in reply to Aspergianstar2009 and thatsthewayitgoes09, you may be confused by this blog entry. Therefore I've posted it below:

As responsible adults (sort of for me), we sometimes forget that youtube is a playground for misbehaving, feuds and foolish fighting. And we forget the reason we began to make videos on youtube. I started to make videos because I wanted to add my pennies into the Youtube's Doctor Who community. If I was after fame, as I've said before, I would have taken more time with my videos and gone for comedy.

I was impressed with Aspergianstar2009's back-on-form video. In which he explains his position and literally ends any feuds with myself, thatsthewayitgoes09 and breakbeatkev3 (who isn't feuding) in one single video. Talk about precision!

I spoke to him and his girlfriend on Skype today, and we agreed that things were getting a bit ridiculous. He also said that if it hadn't been for other people this thing would have been sorted out in just a few days, probably hours really. I'm still standing by my thoughts of Ryan.But I think there is more to this than a simple misunderstanding, both of us have listened too much to trolls and this has lead us to make various attacks against each other...a real shame.

Aspergianstar2009 was replying to the above video. thatsthewayitgoes09's has a strong fluency in his long videos. Unlike Chris Gillon, he rarely drifts off topic. Hardly ever stumbles into 'errs' or 'durrrs', which is extremely difficult in unscripted youtubing. Many top-end-youtubers actually avoid unscripted stuff as it is haphazard - even on a good day!

So there we have it people. The end of a beautiful feud, for the fruitcakes and trolls, mostly. Don't worry if you have a taste for blood, I will be concentrating my efforts on winding up Chris, who is just plain crazy. As breakbeatkev3 says in his videos, 'a total whacko!'

Crazy Month On Youtube

Before I lay into this blog: I will admit that I find Aspergianstar2009's Doctor Who videos, dull and just about acceptable for Youtube. No wonder you don't have partnership. Anyway, I know that you guys openly enjoy licking out each others butter cheeks in every comment, PM and video.

I will state that at least Gaystar, Chris, PeaBrain and his Glue Sniffing friend (XainArchives, you can see him clapping on PeaBrain's channel) don't hide behind a keyboard like a bunch of pansies! If you are going to make offensive remarks, at least be brave enough to show your face.

Did anyone forget about what Breakbeatkev said? Many months ago he pointed me directly to you PeaBrain. After a discussion about who started the war between Aspergianstar2009 and MrTARDISreviews?

You didn't fool Breakbeatkev boy! He's suspected that you are a muppet for a long, long time! He even removed you from his Facebook after seeing that you had formed a 'special relationship' with your boyfriend Chris! I don't think you or Chris have ever been in a war together, just pretending for the LOLs. I also don't think any of your accounts that you claim to be Emma are actual hers.You sad gits!

Aspergianstar2009 acting like the prat again, no surprise there then. I didn't want to respond to this video because I've been trying to put some commonsense into his ego. I showed him what his new 'best friend' had done to his oldest, most loyal friend on Youtube: thatsthewayitgoes09.

Did he give a damn? No, and I think you can guess. Because Aspergianstar2009 only cares about himself, and if he's sulking about someone telling him off, he then turns on them. Notice how quickly Steve and Ryan turned on their friend? Also, notice how Steve gets aggressive and irritated by anyone with a small amount of success on Youtube? This is unfair, because it takes a lot of hard work to put up videos.

I want everyone who reads my blog to watch the above video very carefully. Notice how a relationship has been built up over a long time with thatsthewayitgoes09, myself and Aspergianstar2009? He even tells me off in a PM about the feud, but I don't turn against him. But Aspergianstar2009 does, what type of person does that sort of thing?

Apparently Aspergianstar2009 and his buddies seem to enjoy posting weak evidence up on Youtube. The backstabbing doesn't make sense simply because the dates don't match up to when the feud started. In case everyone forgot these:

The above video was recorded and put on Youtube on the 29th of April, in which he openly makes racist comments about people he assumes are in my family, and says nasty things about an unborn child. He makes a number of assumptions in this video even though he knows very little about me. What a A hole!

Let's not forget the above video, in which he blocks me because he hears something that PeaBrain whispered in his ears, and got all huffy and upset about it. 15 year olds owning him by telling him what others are saying about him, pathetic!

Apparently, in a Skype conference with MrTARDISreviews, I was saying very bad things about Steve. If this was the case, then where is your recording Chris and Ryan?

This video made me make a post, I found Aspergianstar2009's comments about people in my life to be totally unacceptable. It's not that I care, only that he's suppose to be a friend. If you watch this you hear him say all kinds of stupid things about my family, I don't put up with that Steve, and I've never said bad things about yours. But you keep on making your stupid videos slating mine, is this acceptable to anyone who isn't a complete loser in life?

I'm assuming that if you were telling Aspergianstar2009 about me backstabbing him in a conference, in which you were listening, you would easily been able to hit the record button?? But you couldn't, because you had nothing there to record, except your own childish imagination.

I know how you think Ryan. 'I may as well tell Steve that Mark has been saying this and that, and Steve is too dumb not to fall for it.' Honestly, the best you guys can come up with are school yard tactics. And Aspergianstar2009, you believe that stuff, haven't you grown up since leaving school to learn how to spot a trouble maker? I'm just telling you the way it is, if you're too foolish to listen, then that just shows how ignorant you are.

You could have got better, more insulting things thrown at them in my blog. No wonder I lost a few subs, when he decided to turn on me, he is crying me thinks...lol. However, for the trolls out there, I no longer pay attention to subscribers, so keep trying. I will find out which of the subscriptions are you, Chris, in time.

Just When I Thought Someone Couldn't Get Any Dumber

I was shocked, slightly amused (actually it gave me the chuckles) and puzzled, when I realised how easily someone found it to manipulate Steve. It would be funny, if it wasn't so tragically sad that a 40 year old is being told things by 15 year old trolls and then taking this to be fact? Not that I have anything against 15 year old people, just that these two are obviously trying to stir it up. It is just so obvious!

The first thing I noticed, before watching this video, is how bitter and angry he looked. Dude, calm down, you look like you want to belt me one...hahahaha! But after watching the video my suspicious have now been confirmed. Aspergianstar2009 likes to own himself and, apparently, I've been sending messages back and forth to two users on the internet: Emma and Chris Gillon? Really!

The same users on Youtube who I openly call FRUITCAKES and backstabbers. The same users who I have taken the mickey out of on countless occasions, said that they are total fools and have blocked on more than one occasion, due to them making stupid comments. Although blocking them can be difficult since they keep opening new accounts up everyday, and Chris is by far the worst of the both of them.

Breakbeatkev, someone I would gladly buy a drink for in a pub, put this video up not so long ago. It shows Chris openly admit that he was scared of trolling the likes of others, and made an apology. Apparently he hasn't learned his lesson though. I've noticed that Chris doesn't enable the module to show his videos on his main channel but they can be found floating about on youtube, if you search for his username, which is constantly changing. I know this is slightly off topic, but just shows the idiots we are dealing with on Youtube today.

I'm sorry Ryan but I haven't watched your recent video fully but will later. I'm assuming that you aren't going to fall for a bunch of dumb trolls, who like to stir crap up on the internet. Actually, I've noticed a load of comments from Chris and his 'RandomChannel' mate (who is opening accounts up quicker than anyone can keep up with) they are claiming all sorts of epic wins, and thing I've apparently said, did, or are about to do...it is kind of sad really that anyone would fall for it. This is the type of playground tactics I expect from 3 year old children, and it only ever works on them. But I like Ryan, in that he says how he feels.

Remember the above video? The one in which I said I was running an experiment on an alternate account to test how stupid a troll is. Well, I tested a similar approach with Chris this morning. First off, I made a few comments to get things started, and as a good little idiot he started to respond. Then I switched on the bot, he actually knows I've been running this experiment, which makes it all the more foolish of him to respond at all! He started to respond to the 'And?' and the 'So...' and the 'why?' Really, that dumb?

I kept it running on my own account for an hour, just to see if he would make an hour's worth of comedy for my blog, but at least he gave up after 7 comments, although his comments didn't shorten much...sorry to the muppet out there who lasted with 108 comments! You're still the biggest dumbass on the internet.

Friendship Is A Good Thing

In real life a friend is someone who listens to you and enjoys your company. They never take you for granted, but they can disagree with you on who you chose to be friends with and what you do in your time. Of course there are limits to this, and so we will go into that.

On Youtube I've have online friends, who are, different than what we have in real life but they are still people, on the most part, who have similar interest as myself. Many of them are Doctor Who fans, and yet others are intrigued with philosophy and discussion. People on my Youtube channels I have a form of relationship with them and I appreciate that.

MrTARDISreviews

This maybe a shock to some people, but MrTARDISreviews has always been polite to me and has earned my respect.

So why do I class these guys as friendship material. Well, they've earned my trust. On no occasion of knowing them have they tried to control what I do, and they have, in someways, supported me along the way. I know, MrTARDISreviews is pretty new to the scene, but despite a rough start he has proven to be of good friendship material.

Who Don't I trust, and Why?

People think that trust is a given thing, and friends do break trust and are mean to each other once in awhile, but true friends don't dictate what you do, how you do it, and say, 'well, if your mate with my competition, then you're no mate of mine!'

Here is someone who I now know not to trust, yes, I have been mean to him, only after he backstabbed all of his friends and created lies about almost everyone of them!

I have to admit that I was looking forward to Steve's reaction to MrTARDISreviews getting a type of partnership, but what I've heard in his podcasts about his friends is beyond the joke!

Aspergianstar2009 spends mountains of time talking about one particular Youtuber: MrTARDISreviews!

Almost every single podcast, video and rant has his name in it. Talk about being obsessive! I was shocked when I realised to what extent Steve's OCD with MrTARDISreviews goes. After many videos I started to become concern that perhaps Steve needs to drop his attacks on MrTARDISreviews and SparkyGerbil.

The above video is actually a classical sign of an online stalker, and it maybe fun to some of us to watch it but I think it is disgusting!
I gave him friendly advice, tips on improving his online content and page presentation. Told him to drop the feuds and do what he does best, talking about his passions. Instead, I noticed that whenever I talk to him nowadays there is an air of aggression about him. I think he thinks I don't notice it but I do, and I simply don't trust him.

Quite recently, yesterday, I was speaking to Steve and all he did was try and redirect, steer and guide the conversation into the realms of MrTARDISreviews. Because I try to steer the conversation into a different direction he becomes irritable, it is like his friendship is based on one sole purpose...his own criteria!

Steve's friendship is based on narcissistic factors: you must talk nastily about MrTARDISreviews in every single discussion with him, if you don't he'll try to steer you there; you must agree with everything he does, if you don't he'll get defensive and attack you; Steve's idea of trust is a dictatorship, technically the trust he's giving you isn't that of a real friend but a control freak.

Steven Moffat's Rant On Posters Of Spoilers Online

Did Steven Moffat go too far with his rant?

In a recent interview with the BBC I was shocked when Steven Moffat said that he 'hated fans of Doctor Who', and said,'...I just wish they watched something else!'

Together with one of the production staff and the editor of DW Magazine they attack one particular poster who revealed a little too much information online. Who gave away the first two episode plots in a forum. What annoyed Steven Moffat more than anything else was that he wanted the surprises to surprise his viewers, spoilers tend to get in the way of this.

While I agree that spoilers can have a threatening impact on the show I thought that Steven Moffat's choice of words were a little ham-mouthed. 'Hate' is a strong word, and I also heard one of the presenters talk about 'death threats', which I found a little offensive and arrogant.

I've been guilty of posting spoilers online before and coming creepily accurate with the predictions. Several of you guys, who have left messages on my Youtube channel, have said that the best way to stop spoilers from ruining the surprise is to make the plots surprising and new, and not to keep reusing the same plot devices over and over. RTDavies started to become predictable, but it wasn't his fault, some of the plots were practically forced.

This week I lost 50 odd subscribers, and had a variety of hate PMs by certain people who thought that my channel was to spoil fans' Doctor Who. Some Youtubers felt the need to defend speculation youtubers, who, like myself, are only voicing what they think will happen. So bad was the harassment of certain 'speculation youtubers' that MrTARDISreviews made a video in their defense to explain that the interview wasn't directed at us guys:

So Why Do I Like to Youtube?

I've been Youtubing for nearly 2 years, and have changed my attitude to it overtime. I Youtube for a variety of reasons, of course, but what attracts me to making videos is the people with similar interest and the discussions they create from this. Here's an opinionated video, made just to see what others thought of Steven Moffat's rant:

The above video is too personal, and doesn't cover popular subjects, its purpose is to tell my friends on Youtube why I've started a second account, and my plans for it. It won't get hundreds of thousands of views, but it is part of being a youtuber. For those that know me understand that my videos have a shelf life, for instance, all my Doctor Who videos for season 6 and 5 are only relevant while the season is being aired. It is even worse for single episodes, whose shelf life is just slightly more than a week. Here is an example:

Okay, not about Doctor Who, but just to demonstrate that the hype of a single episode is only relevant on Youtube for a few days after it has been aired. After which it fades into the banks of Youtube's archives, probably never to be watched again.

So why do I Youtube then, if not for the fame? Because I like making online discussion. These are things I'm passionate about so I like to get my thoughts and feeling out there, to the community on Youtube. There are things on Youtube that I wish people would do, like responding to Doctor Who comments with videos and creating an air of excitement, if I see nobody doing it I do it myself.

I know I'm never going to make it big on Youtube, my videos are far too short lived and narrow to reach a large audience, but, those I do reach like to discuss their ideas. So therefore I build myself around this community, of people who like similar things to myself, and I appreciate their open arms and what they think about the topics I discuss. If I wanted fame I would take more time making professionally looking videos about comedy, which get more views and more subscribers...but I'm just not passionate for that sort of thing.

Why I have opened up a second Youtube account?

Recently I've opened up a second Youtube Account

I joined Youtube for the fun of it! I didn't plan on doing much but a few podcast about certain things, so an issue like a strange username, or a suggestive Youtube name, for a joke, didn't really matter to me.

'My plans have changed, but the fun must stay.'

1st Channel: IJUSTSUBSCRIBENOW

This is a sample from my old channel. Which I will continue to use for a multitude of reasons! I plan to use copyright footage only for fair use purposes.

One of the main problems with my old account its name is immediately suggestive. Some people mistake it for a sub for sub. I original made videos to make a point, and to get my idea out in the Youtube community. But now I wish to get more involved in the community of Doctor Who and Youtube without having a complete stigma attached to my name.

2nd Channel: THOUGHTLER

Here is my introduction video for my new channel, which will primary be used for blogging. I plan to use no copyright at all.

This name is miles better. It implies that I will put up thoughts and will listen to other people. Since the old channel is useful for making entertainment videos with copyright of fair-use I've decided that my new one should just be about thoughts and communicating with subscribers, friends and other comments on my channel with videos.

'Sub for Sub was not my intention with IJUSTSUBSCRIBENOW'

I chose it because I would get asked to subscribe from people without videos, which I thought was funny. However, nowadays I find that people sub to me because of my name and not for the content.

'I don't mind subbing to people with similar interest as me - but they must have a video up otherwise I don't really see the point.'

I think if people are looking for subscribers they should really have a point, but I understand that some like to have competitions with their mates to see how many subs they can get on their channel. But this isn't the spirit of Youtube.

One of the main reasons I like to blog and make videos is because I like conversation. I know am not destined to fame, nor would I want it, and neither will I be noticed too much in a crowd of talent, but I just love interacting with others on topics I like, like certain TV shows and certain geeky subjects. Star wars, computers and Doctor Who...you can be my best friend ;)

I like discussion. I like science. I like philosophy, but most of all I like interacting with others on the internet. However, I find that some of the methods I've used in the past have been too suggestive, not to mention they mislead other thinkers running in the opposite direction. But I've really enjoyed the interaction I've got from the videos and comments I've left with other people....it has been a real joy.
